Well, we're going back a couple more years and heading to Sheer Heart Attack. Kevin almost manifested the song for the second time!!! No, seriously, he was like 3 pixels away!!! Randy knows this song, Kev knows this song and the boys get into a discussion about whether Roger Taylor is swinging the beat. Kev insists he is, Randy is not convinced! The first song that Queen ever played live and a mainstay of the set from 1970 to 1978, this is possibly the first thrash metal song. It's also the first song credited to all four band members, mainly because they couldn't remember who'd actually written the lyrics! We also listen to the BBC version of Spread Your Wings after repeated recommendations. Oh, and we talk about the Metallica cover that inexplicably won a grammy in 1991.
If Randy were to title this episode, he’d probably call it "Wouldn't a wet fish bone smell worse" or possibly "Stone Cold Crazy Rocks"
Today's episode covers the heaviest song from arguably Queen's heaviest album "Sheer Heart Attack", we're all "Stone Cold Crazy".
NOTE: If you want to skip ahead to Randy and Kev's manifestations and the wheel spin, that happens at 41:37!
